Miracle Festival Follow-up

Four months after this festival, a local Bishop who was involved with the festival reported that twelve new house churches started meeting in the area where the festival had taken place. Each house church now has seventy to one hundred people who come on a weekly basis to worship God.

Some of the Muslim families have made a decision to be baptized. This is not a decision to be made lightly because if Muslims are caught, the punishment for water baptism is death.

The process of following up with new believers from this festival worked like a giant funnel. Thousands came to the festival and prayed to Jesus for salvation. Bible correspondence courses began the discipleship process. Hundreds began regularly attending house church services and dozens of individuals made a final decision to be baptized.

Jesus is truly working in Muslim nations! In fact one festival director stated that many Muslims have come to him for prayer. He asked them, “I am a Christian and you are a Muslim, why are you coming to me for prayer?” They answered, “Because we know that God answers the prayers of Christians.”
